OJ Simpson was one of my childhood sports heroes...he was a great player & until the murder trial seemed like a great representive for football & life in general. Let's face it,American blacks will always struggle with the legacy of slavery & ongoing forms of racism,unfair to them.This does not excuse random acts of crime,but it should be remembered,contextually,when we judge people.And God will judge us all in light of the "big picture" . We have an obligation to be equitable towards all people. Also,we must condemn the rise of so-called "reverse racism" (persons of color committing hate crimes versus so-called "white" persons). But the main point here is to PRAY 4 OJ Simpson to come to Christ,NOT Islam. I hope Christian prison chaplains have the opportunity to meet with OJ before its too late. Dear fellow Christians,we are LOSING TOO MANY to Islam,and it is our responsibility & privilege to be reaching all people for Christ! Let us NOT grow weary in doing what is right!
